Read More About the Long Island Ravens MC in the Long Island Community Connection The L.I. Ravens M.C. is a member of the Atlantic Motorcycle Coordinating Council (AMCC). The AMCC was founded in 1969 as a forum for discussion among members clubs sharing a commonality of interest and geography. Their purpose is to encourage participation at sanctioned events coordinate event dates to prevent date conflicts between clubs, provide a discussion forum for items of club interest, and promote enjoyment of motorcycling, the leather/levi lifestyle and other activities among its members. Meetings:The L.I. Ravens M.C. meets monthly -- normally on the third Saturday of the month -- currently we round-robin between member homes across the island or neutral venues. We also hold, at regular intervals, club nights at the Long Island Eagle, Blanche and other clubs. Check the our Events Calendar for specific dates and times.Fundraising:The L.I. Ravens M.C. raises money through various events and activities in support of AIDS/HIV and L.I. gay causes and projects. Moneys collected throughout the year are distributed annually at our Anniversary Dinner. To date the Ravens have awarded over $115,000.00 to local charities and service organizations.Social Activities:The L.I. Ravens M.C. participate in many local, national and private social gatherings. We proudly support the our local events and volunteer our services whenever possible. The Ravens also sponsor several social gatherings including motorcycle day rides, camping weekends and "after-hour" parties.
